YDP Work & Travel is now recruiting for departures from February 2012 onwards and have a variety of 12 month placement opportunities available at selected luxury hotels and resorts across the USA. We have openings available at world renowned hotel chains such as the Montage, Marriott, Hilton, Sheraton and Waldorf Astoria Hotels and Resorts.
The programme we offer is an excellent opportunity for students and recent graduates to spend between six and 12 months in the USA, gaining practical work experience in the culinary and hospitality industries. Fast track your career by breaking that logjam of having insufficient experience, earn US Dollars, embrace a new culture and travel.
YDP can place candidates in the following categories: general hospitality, culinary, F&B, restaurant and hotel management, front office, housekeeping and rooms division.
Applicants can expect to earn anything between $9 and $14 per hour (depending on placement type, experience & qualifications) and will work between 32 and 40 hours per week. This means you will earn between $1, 000 (±R8, 500) and $3,000 (±R25, 000) per month.
