 General Manager for Clifton's Hottest venue.

The successful operators of the Paranga group have recently launched The Bungalow in Clifton.
This Heritage Site has been reinvigorated, reinvented and revamped to launch a multi-leveled restaurant and bar extravaganza - never before seen in Cape Town. This unforgettable site has been the sunset spot for many Capetonians for decades and is situated in a truly unforgettable setting. It has been a phenomenal success since it's launch in December and has become the place to be seen amongst the Cape Town jet set
We are looking for an experienced, energetic and dynamic General Manager who can take this project as their own.
Key deliverables include:
- Oversee the administration for this 500 seater, 1,800 square meter venue
- Manage budgets in line with Operations support
- Manage the staff and operations
- Entertain guests and ensure that outstanding service is the norm
Key skills and capabilities
- Financial acumen
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work shifts and long hours
- Knowledge of cocktails and bars including sushi bars
- Finesse and attention to detail
Key attributes
- Good looking and presentable
- Young and vibey
- Focused and driven
Experience and qualifications
- 5 years in a General Manager position in a similar environment
- Hospitality Management Degree
- MBA or similar advantageous
