EXPERIENCED PR EXECUTIVE REQUIRED FOR 5* HOTEL PROPERTY, CAPE TOWN!
Excellent opportunity has come up at one of the Cap’s favourite 5* hotels – we are currently looking for an experience PR executive to join the hotel team!
Purpose of the role:
· The co-ordination, implementation and achievement of qualified media exposure for the hotel in conjunction with PR agencies and PR Manager
· Engagement and relationship building with the ‘Public’ on behalf of the hotel via PR agencies, media contacts, networking and social media platforms
· Continued scanning of Public opinion, attitudes and issues that could impact positively or negatively on the hotel and to facilitate organisational response
· Reports directly to the PR & Marketing Manager
Skills, education and qualification requirements
· Matric/Grade 12 is a prerequisite.
· PR Diploma or 2-3 years working experience (in a similar role)
· A Hotel Management diploma will be highly advantageous
· Experience in the hospitality and tourism industry will be preferred
· Marketing diploma or 2-3 years in a similar position will be advantageous
· Fully computer literate on the MS Office Suite
· Knowledge of Newsclip and Opera
Proven abilities in:
· Written and verbal communication with people on all levels
· Developing and nurturing interpersonal relationships (with media, HIP guests, colleagues, suppliers and the like)
· Strong organisation and administrative skills

Salary Offered: R10k to R13k CTC pm dependent upon experience
