Sales & Marketing Assistant

A successful, busy and corporate 5 star hotel in Cape Town seeks an innovative & absolutely brilliant Sales and Marketing Assistant.
Responsible for sales support & administration in the Mice, Leisure and Corporate market segments, coupled with Assistant to Director of Sales & Marketing duties.
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Minimum of three (3) years of sales administration experience within the service/hospitality industry.
- Strong MS Office administrative skills, with exceptional proficiency in excel.
- Maintain and update existing databases
- Administration of various on-line systems.
- Administration and reporting from Opera
- Generate reports on Key Account performance.
- Compile Proposals & prepare presentation packs along with co-ordinating of client functions.
- Assist in site inspections & hotel client meetings.
- Assist with trade shows, events and industry meetings.
- Participate in business review / pre-convention / sales related meetings.
- Purchase order and Expenditure budget administration
- Monthly Sales & Marketing presentation compilation
- Travel and Itinerary arrangements
- Client Liaison and Telesales
- General office administration and correspondence.
