Fancourt, a leading international business and leisure destination has an exciting opportunity available for a Reservations Manager to head up the Reservations Department. Reporting to the Revenue Manger, the successful candidate will be responsible for heading up a team of six reservationists (3 group coordinators & three individual bookings coordinators) and will ensure that occupancy and revenue levels are maintained through effective management of the reservations team. Duties include:
· Ensuring optimal yielding
· Building of rates
· Ensuring that reservationists follow up all enquiries and reservations
· Weekly and monthly forecasting
· Database management
· Coordinating site visits
· Assisting Reservationists with difficult queries
· Loading and maintenance of rates, packages and STO details
Minimum requirements include a Hotel qualification with at least 2 years experience in a similar position in a medium to large five star hotel or resort environment as well as in-depth understanding of Opera. The successful candidate will be a hard working, driven team player with excellent managerial and people skills.
