This is an excellent opportunity for a Retail / F&B Manager to join this very popular venue in Bahrain. As Retail Manager, you will be responsible for the management of food & beverage outlets and an retail shop outlet that will sell related products and souvenir items. We are looking for candidate with BOTH F&B and RETAIL EXPERIENCE ideally or who are working in a similar venue.

As Retail Manager, you will set up and manage the cart retail and mall retail area and determine product lines in conjunction with the commercial manager for sale in the retail areas. You will be managing the stock rooms and stock levels to achieve an efficient purchase demand of the guests. Retail Manager will be liasing with all outsourced warehouse companies that hold our stock

The role of Retail Manager will involve management of a team of approximately 30 staff members and need to identify staffing levels and requirements, training needs, performance management, administering and scheduling duty rosters and ensuring the application of all the staff rules and regulations.

As Retail Manager, you will be constantly training on new lines of products and this includes a monthly training period on existing products.

Obviously, the post of Retail Manager will ensure a high level of customer service and presentation is achieved within all areas for which the post holder is responsible. You will be producing reports and regular reviews on the performance of the areas for which the post holder is responsible. You will be constantly updating and changing the retail areas image including the display windows in order to create a better atmosphere and increase sales. Staying up to date with current events, products, fashion trends, exhibitions related to the products sold in our store and in others around the world.

On the F&B side of things, the Retail Manager will be liasing with the chef and supervisor during operations to ensure food quality is up to the specified standard, maintaining food costs, manage the kitchen team to deliver P&L and quality of food. Menus are to reviewed at least once a year and you will also be required to coordinate function rooms and supply food and staff for functions and party rooms.
