Must have at least 3-5 years experience in a 5 * Environment
To ensure that the department is economically manned at all times.
To recommend the hire or discharge of employees in the F&B department to the F&B Manager.
To manage and control all outlets within F&B in order to achieve or exceed budget profitability by maintaining a high standard of service, presentation and efficiency.
To be responsible for the implementation and maintenance as directed by the F&B manager
To instruct and train personnel in all aspects of practical and social skills to ensure a high standard of efficiency and service in the F&B department.
To help and implement all new food and beverage concepts
Ongoing beverage promotions in the bar
To monitor monthly auction wine sales and show ways of improving sales
To assist the F&B manager in the development and introduction of all agreed systems, the objectives of which are to improve the efficiency and profitability of the department
To ensure the department is correctly trained in emergency procedures
May be called upon to perform other duties not mentioned above, as requested by the F&B manager, such as duty manager shift.
