Purpose:
To secure and retain business through professional, consultative and proactive sales activities directed at decision-makers and decision-influencers to existing and new clients in order to meet budgeted sales targets.
The incumbent will report to the Group Sales Director.
Responsibilities:
- Actively prospect and leverage new business opportunities within specified client accounts
- Cultivate strong long-term relationships with key decision-makers
- Awareness of competitor activities
- Analyse potential opportunities and sales plans for each target account and monitor actions and results against plans.
- Co-ordinate proposals and contracts
- Handle follow-up related to the sale and completion of contractual documentation, if applicable.
- Adopt successful strategies and tactics to meet market demands and budgeted targets.
- Maintain high visibility within the customer oprganisation.
- Record all customer sales-related activities.
- Monitor client satisfaction through regular communication with clients
- Keeping abreast of market trends and continuously updating product knowledge
- Implement a Sales business development programme to maximize the growth of the new and existing client base- Co-ordinated performance management of team members

Minimum Requirements: - Matric
- Computer literacy

- Drivers license and own transport
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years proven track record of working in a target-driven sales environment
