Purpose:
The Group Sales & Marketing Director is responsible for the development and successful implementation of a strategic Sales and Marketing plan.
The incumbent will report to the Chief Executive Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the acquisition of new business and growth of existing business.
- He/She will manage the entire marketing mix, from public relations to brand management.
- The incumbent will ensure that the brand outperforms competitors by ensuring client satisfaction, retention and market growth.
- Implement stagegies to ensure that targets are achieved and exceeded
- Direct and guide the Sales team
- Develop planning strategies
- Appraise team performance
- Annual strategic monthly planning and reporting
- Extending existing client contacts
- Budget management and financial planning
- Formulate annual sales targets according to Marketing Teams
- Maintain appropriate communication with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Motivation of training of the Sales and Marketing Teams
- Analyse and evaluate monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Relationship building with all key inbound and outbound partners.
- Working closely with various travel trade partners
- Develop and implement marketing plans
- Oversee corporate communications activities

Minimum Requirements:
- A post-graduate Business Management qualification
- Minimum of five years experience in a senior Sales and/or Marketing position
