Facilities Manager

Scope of Role
Our client, a large facilities management company, is looking to appoint a Facilites Manager to take accountability for a number of retail sites within their client portfolio. You will be responsible for both soft and hard services including front and back of house, contract management and all additional building services. You will act as a Client point of contact for the provision of the FM services required.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be able demonstrate a high standard of people skills within a customer facing industry. You will be experienced in leading teams of internal and out-sourced staff within a service driven environment. The ability to negotiate and manage high value service contracts with external suppliers is a pre-requisite for this position. You will be IT literate and have sound commercial and financial acumen. An assertive approach and the capacity to ‘think on your feet’ are essential attributes. You will be a skilled communicator with experience of dealing with Client representatives at a senior level. This is an Employment Equity position.
