Duties and Responsibilities


  • Take full responsibility for the profitable operation of the Food & Beverage Department, adhering to the company’s policies and procedures at all times.
  • Ensure that a courteous and efficient service is provided to the guest in line with the Company’s Mission statement
  • Ensure the smooth running of the whole operation


Portfolio Responsible For:

  • Food and Beverage department
  • Ensure that all F&B staff projects a good image. This being efficiency, courtesy, helpfulness, appearance and cleanliness.
  • Ensure that the F&B staff always wears uniform
  • Responsible for all guest services and admin in F&B Department
  • During meal times, be on the restaurant floor to check service levels
  • Conduct a staff briefing at the beginning of each shift and allocate staff to perform specific tasks if necessary
  • Full responsibility for the Restaurant Service , Bar Service ,Banqueting and functions and the Kitchen
  • Deal with complaints

  • 4-6 Years Previous Experience in a position as F & B Manager
  • Matric
  • Hotel School Diploma or similar qualification
