Matric/ Must have a minimum of 2 years' cooking experience as a senior CDP in a well-recognized establishment. Good all rounder in the kitchen. A tertiary education is essential. Creative and hardworking with a willingness to be innovative.
- Preparing of food
- Ensuring that the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen is of the highest standard
- Effective daily management of the pastry kitchen ensuring that the pastry section produces thenecessary breads, croissants, danish pastries, ice creams, sorbets, cakes, biscuits and desserts.
- Maintaining fridges and stores to the highest hygiene and stock rotation standards
- Communicating with kitchen and lodge front of house staff to ensure the smooth running of the department
