A beautiful estate situated in the Garden Route. The Estate is home to 3 unique high end Hospitality offerings to include an upmarket busy bistro, a country house hotel and a treetop lodge.
This is a permanent position to be based on an estate relieving at various properties on the estate when staff members are on leave or when a particular unit has more volume to handle than usual. Each property on the estate offers something unique and so the chef must be fairly flexible in their cooking style and skills. There is one bistro style a la carte restaurant, one country house hotel and one treetop lodge on the estate. All situated in the beautiful Garden route region. Previous high end Chef de Partie experience is required. Capable of preparation and presentation of good quality food. Assist with stock takes, food hygiene and portion control, etc.
Professional Cookery Diploma.
Pro-active. Self Motivated. Ability to adapt between units and be happy to move around. Must enjoy the excitement of moving between properties and be willing and eager to help wherever needed. Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
