Job Summary

We are looking for a guest-orientated and professional  Front desk Receptionist with excellent interpersonal skills, who is well spoken and able to correspond with local and international guests. 

Minimum Experience and Qualification Required:

  • Previous experience in a 5 star hotel or similar environment
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Second language would be advantageous
  • Shift work required, including night auditor shifts
  • Be able to carry out full reception duties, night audit duties and be responsible for financial transactions
  • Be able to deal with guest’s requests, complaints and their queries
  • A professional and charming telephone manner is vital
  • Knowledge of Opera preferable
  • Well groomed, friendly and presentable
  • The ability to work well under pressure
  • Must be hard working, motivated and dedicated
  • Must be a team player
  • Must have a positive nature and the right attitude
  • Own transport advisable

Key Performance Objectives:

  • Deal with daily GUEST queries and requests
  • Operate the hotel’s Property Management System: OPERA
  • Check GUEST in upon arrival and check them out upon departure
  • Operate the switchboard and direct calls
