Location: Cape Town

High volume Tourist attraction is seeking a Restaurant Food & Beverage Manager to mange and lead the front of house team to deliver exceptional service according to quality standars, while esnuring effect stock and cash management.

Responsibilities included but not limited to:

 All front of house service areas
 Delivery of service excellence in front of house
 Working to the beverage and retail cost principle of the company average
 Delivering quality of product while maintaining low variances
 Hygiene audit results achieved
 Planning and executing product changes based on seasonal strategies
 Maintaining the par stock levels in all beverages and retail
 Sound people management in line with current HR practices
 Security controls and procedures is adhered to
 Accurate cash management according to SOP’s
 Optimal staff coverage according to seasonal requirements

Key Competencies
Qualifications and Technical and Functional knowledge and skills:

  • Matric qualification
  • 3 to 5 Years Front of house management/supervisory experience (Similar or related qualification in the Food and Beverage Industry preferable.)
  • Working knowledge of service, food presentation and Mise en Place
  • Sound working knowledge of Micros system
  • Knowledge of health standards and legislation
  • Quality management
  • Commercial ability
  • Service orientation
  • Training of staff (Health & Safety; Environmental)
  • Have a clear criminal and credit record
  • Have own, reliable transport
