Great food is a prerequisite for a great country hotel.  We require the services for the summer season (October 2019 - April 2020, -chef then to travel overseas or work in a European summer kitchen in our quiet winter months!) and next SA summer return to us!  Longer term employment negotiable for the right candidate.  We want a strong creative chef that specializes in  South African fare with a modern  twist.  See our present menus on our website.  You will work with our head chef.  You will also be in overall charge of our front of housebar and promotions – and be involved in overall management of our small but plucky hotel. We need someone that is involved in running the establishment as a profit-making business.  Unique opportunity to work with South African food legend Peter Veldsman , our food patron.  A unique opportunity that will open doors in your career.
