In this role you will be the ‘face of Restaurant’ in the evenings. We are seeking an enthusiastic Front of House / Hospitality Manager to support and add value to our business. Your primary responsibilities will be to lead the guest experience, providing a warm welcome, engaging, hosting and being the ‘go-to’ person for guests and staff alike for all things guest related. The role is for someone who loves to build relationships and is always looking to provide an excellent customer experience. You, along with the lodge and restaurant staff, are responsible for the guest’s first and lasting impressions and as a member of the management team you will be expected to ensure a high quality of service is delivered.
Duties and Responsibilities
Set the tone for customers’ exceptional dining experience by greeting and seating them quickly and professionally, sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm for the menu and introducing the specials.
Acting as the host to our in-house lodge guests, providing insightful knowledge of the area, experiences available and generally attending to any queries or requests they may have.
Be a great team player by helping out around the restaurant, whether answering phones, completing financial transactions, cleaning or stocktake.
Checking-in potential late arrivals into the Lodge. Managing room allocations, data capturing of guest details, queries, etc. in a professional and timeous manner.
Working with the kitchen to ensure a seamless service, whether it is quality control of dishes, timeous delivery of meals or dealing with customer complaints.

Relevant Hospitality or Food Service Qualification will prove an advantage but is not essential if experienced in a similar role.

Can be a live out or live in position (Single Accommodation). Two meals per day on days worked. Uniform provided free of charge – replacement for own cost. Staff discounts.
