We are now in search for a HR Manager for a Luxury Boutique Island Resort in the Seychelles 


HR Statutory

  •  Have a strong foundation and working knowledge of labour law specifically for the Seychelles
  •  Excellent experience in managing HR cases and handling disciplinary issues effectively
  •  Know and understand the IR toolkit to enable you to train the Seychelles team and provide advice when needed
  •  Support and Coordinate Disciplinary and Grievances procedures
  •  Consolidate monthly HR reports for HR central in Europe
  •  Strategic networking amongst other HR practitioners in the region and country to ensure company is current on all legislation


  •  Drive, support and coordinate the core Recognition Programmes.
  •  Supporting of Recognition celebrations and events in the region aligned to the company standard and way
  •  Host, coordinate and celebrate the regional company awards and the annual year end event for the region
  •  Effectively manage managers recognition programs


  •  Working closely with General Manager to ensure the recruitment processes are followed
  •  Support with interviews and Tanzania focussed recruitment

HR General

  •  Ensuring that all HR collateral are brand aligned
  •  Track and flag work permits
  •  Do Exit Interviews for all staff

Performance Management and training

  •  Support and work with respective management in the implementation, sustainability and maintenance of a Performance Development system
  •  Tracking, measurement and analysis of Performance Appraisals
  •  Training all staff on performance management and leadership concepts
  •  Training all staff on IR and policies
  •  Coordinating training schedules between different departments

Drive Key HR Projects 

  •  Champion, inform, coordinate and drive company internal inductions at office and resort
  •  Relationship building with Directors and Managers in the for effective understanding, support and implementation of projects

 Office Management

  •  Work closely with the Seychelles team to ensure the office is run smoothly - including general operations, maintenance etc.
  •  Support committees in terms of staff motivation and recognition
  •  Distribution of weekly Birthdays as well as updating the birthday list
  •  Basic budget management accounts experience so as to make budget conscious decisions
  •  Preparation of Seychelles junior staff contracts
  •  Management of Seychelles office and other staff files

Staff Management

  • The effective and comprehensive managing of the Seychelles Office team (3 staff members)


  •  Labour Law, HR or Industrial Psychology Qualification (Degree or Diploma)
  •  5 Years experience in labour law, 3 years experience in HR Management
  •  Advanced computer skills in:
  •  Word
  •  Excel
  •  PowerPoint


  •  Good communication and writing skills
  •  High IQ and EQ to deal with junior and senior staff, up to Director level
  •  Work at high speed and still deliver quality
  •  Attention to detail
  •  Be proactive
  •  Prioritise and still be flexible
  •  Be professional with good people skills
  •  Ability to work under pressure
  •  Be able to work on multiple projects
  •  High emotional IQ,, EQ and people skills so as to consult with all levels of people in the business
  •  High organisation skills
  •  Fluent English (written and spoken)
