THE BOARDROOM-REFRESHING RECRUITMENT seeks a skilled & experienced SPA MANAGER for our client, a luxury hotel spa .If you meet the criteria for this fantastic career opportunity, then I would like to hear from you!

Core duties include managing staff, managing stock, managing stock usage, overseeing facility maintenance, developing budgets and creating marketing and promotions campaigns. Staff-related duties could entail hiring, training and scheduling employees. In addition, the Spa Manager requires to interact directly with customers to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction with spa services and personnel.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate sincere customer focus and true appreciation for the guest experience
  • Develop and implement spa goals, policies and procedures
  • Responsible for leading the efficient and effective spa operation including short and long term strategic planning
  • Develop and maintain adequate professional product program
  • Develop and maintain retail product program
  • Maintain establishment and employee professional code of conduct
  • Maintain pricing integrity and spa standards
  • Produce annual marketing plan in conjunction with the hotel
  • Assist with the annual public relations program, calendar of events, media etc.
  • Identify new business and marketing opportunities
  • Promote and sell customized spa programs to conference groups
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policy and procedures
  • Planning services include food and beverage service and activities and any special requirements or events
  • Promote and sell customized spa programs to conference groups as required
  • Liaise between the hotel front office and sales operational departments, clients and guests for conference and in-house guests
  • Manage, train and motivate all spa employees
  • Perform department annual employee schedules and department payroll structures and basics to finance
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of competitors, including location, product offering, pricing and promotions and sales techniques
  • Establish and maintain a professional business relationship with all vendors
  • Ensure equipment and physical facility in peak condition including cleanliness and repair
  • Develop, follow and ensure that all safety and emergency policies, procedures and practices adhered to
  • Participate in the annual budgeting and forecast process
  • Control costs of goods purchased, service supplied and labor necessary
  • Attend hotel communication meetings regularly

Core Competencies, Characteristics and Qualification’s:

Minimum 3-5-year proven experience in a management position in a spa

Experience in a luxury hotel an asset
