The Farmshop offers an array of farm to table products grown & nurtured on the farm. Other products would include wine & a small nursery of plants / herbs.
Manage the day to day operations of the Farm Shop & Picnic area of this very popular farm.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
Opening & closing procedures of the Farmshop & Picnic area
Ensure hygiene & sanitising protocols are followed
Manage the Deli & Picnic Team
Provide service excellence to guests with a warm & welcoming personality
Engage with clients regarding all the various products on offer - up-selling & promoting the homemade takeaway meals
Must have excellent knowledge of the various products
Sound Food & Wine knowledge
Be proficient in administrative duties including rosters, stock takes, stock rotation & managing the sell by date items
Have open & good communication with the Chef / kitchen
Staff management, engagement & conflict resolution
Previous experience in a similar environment - preferably in a Farmshop Deli environment
Mainly day shifts but willing to work evenings for Events .
Open to work weekends & Public Holidays
