Maintenance Manager - Private Game Reserve in the Waterberg is looking for a Maintenance Manager for its lodges and infrastructure on the property.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a Senior position for someone with experience and who can operate well under pressure.
The Maintenance Manager is required to:
Manage general infrastructure maintenance, repairs and development and is responsible for the general upkeep of the buildings, services, vehicles and machinery on the property. In addition, they are required to manage the maintenance team, the department’s budget, suppliers, general administration, purchasing and stores.
Communicate with the General Manager and lodge management teams in relation to maintenance requirements and to monitor the lodge facilities and infrastructure, ensuring that preventative maintenance is carried out in a timely fashion and that required renovation, refurbishment and repair is undertaken as required.
Applicants should have previous experience in the hospitality industry in South Africa and preferably also with international experience and exposure to international clientele (understanding different cultures and their respective needs). Candidates should have worked in a high-end service delivery environment (5-star environment - both in respect to facilities and service delivery) and should be willing to work in a semi-remote environment.
