Ideally this role would suit a person with experience running a 5 star hospitality institution, the wellness program side of this role is easily learnt:

Management of the following Staff & Admin Functions:

Oversee the admin processes and staff at WRRC.

Develop budgets for all departments at WRRC and Implement effective systems and procedures to monitor expenditures

Oversee Housekeeping at WRRC including supervising staff and ordering products

Oversee kitchen staff, this includes menu prep, oversee ordering and ensuring stock take is completed

Establishes controls to minimise waste and theft.

Management of all grounds staff at the Recovery Centre. 

Encourage and motivate your team. 

Training of staff when needed and as required. Should you require external trainers, this will be your responsibility to source this for your team.

Handle disciplinaries and behaviour management of clients and staff. 

Conduct performance appraisals with your department quarterly.

Reporting to the director. Reporting may be done through daily calls, daily e-mails, weekly calls, or weekly e-mails and other means of communication.

Maintaining health and safety standards in the workplace. Implementing training to increase knowledge about safety and accident prevention principles.

Management of Maintenance – Buildings & Grounds:

Plan new building projects / developments and implement

Oversee maintenance staff and builders, schedules, forecasting of supply needs, cost and budget calculations, ordering of stock and implementing effective stock take procedures

General maintenance of the Recovery Centre and other aspects of the maintenance department as it pertains to the job title. 

Management and ensuring maximisation of productivity of all contract builders and maintenance staff. .

Clients & General Management:

Deal with client queries and problems.

Act as a management representative to clients and groups of clients.

Establish rapport with clients to ensure client satisfaction

Oversee client activities – team building etc

Encourage clients and promote a healing and positive atmosphere among clients. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

·       Diploma in Hotel Management, BCom Marketing

·       Hospitality background advantageous (dealing with clients and queries; accounting systems are very similar to lodge/hotel)

·       Understanding of International Banking, working with various currencies and conversions

·       Ability to work on numerous tasks simultaneously

·       Ability to work under pressure and meet targets set by the Directors

·       Neat and professional approach to work and reports etc.

·       Good understanding of the English language and proficient writing skills

·       Experience with budgeting and forecasting income as well as expenses

·       Able to work as part of team and assist in areas outside of

·       GM where required
